Klein Systems Group Ltd. Holds Inaugural Australia-Pacific Customer Advisory Group Meeting in Adelaide, South Australia.
May 3, 2011
Vancouver, B.C., May 25, 2011 – Klein Systems Group Ltd. (KSG or Klein), a wholly owned subsidiary of HITT nv, and leading provider of full-service maritime management software solutions, announced today that conducted its first Customer Advisory Group meeting in Australia
For two days in April, 2011, Flinders Ports hosted KSG and its port customers from Australia and Papua New Guinea at their head office in Port Adelaide, South Australia. Representatives from Flinders Ports, Fremantle Ports, Maritime Safety Queensland, PNG Ports Corporation and Port Hedland Port Authority shared best practices and provided valuable input into KSG’s KleinPort product roadmap. Several ports which do not currently have KSG products also attended.
“We are pleased to have hosted this meeting and to have the opportunity to provide direct input into the KleinPort product map. Being able to work this closely with a key vendor means that all users benefit from enhancements that help us run our ports as effectively as possible as Klein continually updates its products” said David Paul, Senior Business Analyst, IT for Flinders Ports. Mr. Paul was elected Chair of the Australia Pacific Customer Advisory Group.
One highlight of the session was a demonstration of KleinPort’s seamless integration with the HITT V3000 VTMIS solution. The ability to integrate KleinPort with an industry-leading VTS solution enhances a port’s capability to effectively manage safety, security and environmental considerations.
“KSG is excited to partner with our parent company, HITT nv, in bringing this integrated approach to our port customers” said Christene Best, Vice-President of Sales and Marketing for KSG. Ms. Best also serves as Co-chair of the Advisory Group.
Klein will use the template from the Port Adelaide meeting to create Customer Advisory Groups in other regions. KSG President & CEO Gina Arsens noted that “the opportunity to meet regularly with our customers ensures that we are continually anticipating and meeting their needs and increasing our already deep maritime industry knowledge”.
